Egypt’s Entrepreneur Awards 2026 Launches Sixth Edition and Opens Applications

Egypt’s Entrepreneur Awards (EEA), a leading platform celebrating entrepreneurship in Egypt, has announced the launch of its sixth edition and the opening of applications during a launch event held at Mazeej Balad.

The event brought together prominent entrepreneurs, investors, business leaders and members of Egypt’s entrepreneurial ecosystem. It also featured the unveiling of this year’s award categories and the introduction of EEA’s new Advisory Board.

EEA Sixth Edition Focuses on the Power of Networking

Following five editions dedicated to recognizing entrepreneurial excellence, the sixth edition of Egypt’s Entrepreneur Awards places greater emphasis on the power of networking and the role meaningful connections can play in accelerating business growth, creating new opportunities and strengthening the wider entrepreneurial ecosystem.

Through its growing community of entrepreneurs, investors, business leaders, jury members and ecosystem partners, EEA aims to build connections that extend beyond the awards themselves and contribute to the long-term growth and development of participating businesses.

Egypt’s Entrepreneur Awards 2026 Eligibility Criteria

EEA has outlined a number of eligibility requirements for applicants. These include:

  • At least one of the company’s founders must be Egyptian.

  • The company must be legally registered and operating in Egypt.

  • The company must have been operating for at least two years and less than 10 years.

  • Previous finalists and applicants are eligible to reapply.

  • Previous winners may only reapply with a new company.

  • Applicants may not apply in more than one award category.

  • Companies must submit all required documents supporting their nomination.

These criteria are intended to maintain the integrity and credibility of the awards while ensuring a fair experience for all applicants.

The EEA Award Ceremony, where the winners will be announced, will be held at the Grand Egyptian Museum.

10 Award Categories for EEA’s Sixth Edition

The sixth edition features 10 award categories, reflecting the diversity and continued evolution of the entrepreneurial landscape in Egypt and the wider region.

The categories are:

  • Arab Entrepreneur of the Year

  • Rising Star

  • Fintech Forward

  • Proptech

  • Agritech

  • Health & Wellbeing

  • Product Design

  • Customer Experiences in E-commerce

  • Deeptech

  • Disruptive Duo for Market Innovations, presented by the AmCham Entrepreneurship and Innovation Committee (EIC)

Amr Mansi: “Progress Is Amplified When the Entrepreneurial Community Grows Together”

Commenting on the launch, Amr Mansi, Founder and CEO of ievents and Founder of Egypt’s Entrepreneur Awards, said that the launch of the sixth edition represents an important milestone for EEA.

Under the theme “Collective Momentum,” the new edition places greater emphasis on networking and how entrepreneurs can advance further when connected to the right people, experiences and opportunities.

Mansi noted that what began as an ambition to celebrate outstanding Egyptian entrepreneurs has evolved over the past five editions into a platform and community bringing together leading founders, business leaders, investors and ecosystem partners.

EEA Announces New Advisory Board for 2025–2030

The sixth edition marks a new chapter for Egypt’s Entrepreneur Awards with the introduction of its new Advisory Board for 2025–2030, bringing together prominent figures from business, investment and entrepreneurship.

Rachid Mohamed Rachid, Chairman of Beymen Group and Founder of Bidayat, serves as Chairman of the Advisory Board.

The board also includes:

  • Ahmed El Alfi, Chairman of Sawari Ventures.

  • Rania Al Mashat, Former Minister of International Cooperation.

  • Ayman Ismail, Founding Director of AUC Venture Lab.

  • Neveen El Tahri, Chairperson of Delta Shield for Investment.

  • Onsi Sawiris, Co-Founder and Managing Partner at HOF Capital.

  • Yasmine Khamis, Chairperson of Oriental Weavers Group.

EEA’s jury panels will once again bring together local, regional and international experts from a wide range of industries and disciplines.
