AGEC Developments Partners with IWG to Launch Egypt’s First Humanly Centre at Paramount Business Complex

International Workplace Group (IWG), the global leader in flexible workspace solutions and the operator of brands including Regus, Spaces and HQ, has signed a strategic partnership agreement with AGEC Developments to introduce its Humanly brand to Egypt for the first time. The new centre will open at Paramount Business Complex in Cairo, providing purpose-designed, fully equipped and flexible practice spaces for medical, therapy, wellness, beauty, fitness and rehabilitation professionals.

The agreement was signed by Eng. Ayman Louis Rafla, Chairman of AGEC Developments, and Youssef Naguib, Country Manager of IWG Egypt, in the presence of senior executives from both companies and their business partners. The partnership represents a new step in expanding flexible workspace solutions into Egypt’s growing healthcare and wellness sectors.

Humanly Brings Flexible, Purpose-Designed Healthcare Spaces to Egypt

Introduced earlier in 2026, Humanly is IWG’s dedicated brand for healthcare and wellbeing professionals. It offers treatment-ready environments designed to help practitioners establish, operate and expand their businesses without the financial and administrative burdens associated with traditional premises.

The model provides fully equipped spaces tailored to the needs of medical practitioners, therapists, wellness specialists, beauty professionals, fitness trainers and rehabilitation providers. Through flexible operating arrangements, professionals can select spaces that suit their requirements and adjust their operations as their businesses develop.

As demand for healthcare and wellness services continues to rise globally, practitioners are increasingly seeking cost-effective operating models that reduce overheads and allow them to serve communities more efficiently. Humanly addresses these needs by combining purpose-designed facilities with IWG’s international platform, enabling professionals to focus on delivering services while reducing the complexities of property management and long-term commitments.

The launch also reflects IWG’s strategy of extending its flexible workspace expertise into new sectors where businesses and independent professionals require adaptable, fully serviced environments.

Egypt Strengthens Its Position in IWG’s Regional Expansion Strategy

The introduction of Humanly comes as Egypt continues to play a significant role in IWG’s regional growth. The company signed agreements for 10 new centres in Egypt during the first half of 2026, keeping it on track to achieve its ambitious target of 150 centres nationwide by 2030.

Globally, IWG recorded its highest-ever revenue, cash flow and earnings growth in its history, alongside a record expansion of its network. The company signed 728 new locations worldwide during the first half of 2026, bringing its network to more than 6,000 signed locations across over 120 countries.

IWG’s capital-light expansion strategy remains a key driver of this growth, with 95% of the newly signed locations being delivered through managed partnership agreements. This approach enables property owners and investors to improve the returns generated by their buildings while allowing IWG to expand its international presence efficiently.

Through the launch of Humanly in Cairo, IWG aims to make healthcare and wellbeing services more accessible by enabling practitioners to operate closer to the communities they serve, while benefiting from professional facilities that are ready for use.

AGEC: Partnership Supports Integrated Real Estate Development

Eng. Ayman Louis Rafla, Chairman of AGEC Developments, said the partnership forms part of the company’s strategy to develop integrated projects that extend beyond conventional real estate development. The strategy brings together location, design, operations and management to create sustainable value for customers and projects.

He explained that AGEC’s decision to continue and expand its partnership with IWG follows the successful cooperation on the Regus centre within the Paramount project, which covers approximately 1,500 square metres. The collaboration builds on IWG’s international expertise in flexible workspace solutions and supports AGEC’s approach to developing projects that respond to evolving market needs.

Rafla added that the company seeks to deliver distinctive projects that meet customers’ expectations through the selection of strategic locations and partnerships with experienced operators whose expertise and track records contribute to the overall value of its developments.

Christian Schmitz, Global CEO of International Workplace Group PLC, said Humanly is designed to make healthcare and wellbeing services more accessible by enabling practitioners to work closer to the communities they serve in spaces that are ready for use from day one.

He noted that the model removes the need for substantial upfront investment and long-term property commitments, giving healthcare and wellbeing professionals greater flexibility to build sustainable and profitable practices. This enables practitioners to concentrate on delivering quality services, reaching more people and growing their businesses with confidence.

Youssef Naguib, Country Manager of IWG Egypt, highlighted Egypt’s position as one of the company’s fastest-growing markets. He said the introduction of Humanly responds to rising demand for high-quality spaces equipped specifically for healthcare and wellness professionals, offering a flexible and cost-effective solution that supports business growth.

Paramount Business Complex Reaches 100% Construction Completion

During the signing ceremony, Ahmed El-Ashry, Chief Commercial Officer at AGEC Developments, outlined the latest developments across the company’s project portfolio and announced a new launch at Ivy Residence in Shorouk City.

The new launch includes three types of units in different sizes, supported by payment plans extending up to nine years. The offering focuses on units with near-term handover dates, alongside the continuation of construction activities at the project.

El-Ashry explained that Paramount Business Complex serves as a strategic link between Nasr Road and the Heliopolis area. The project encompasses commercial, administrative and medical activities across a total area of approximately 20,000 square metres, with investments reaching EGP 2 billion.

He added that the project’s design focuses on maximizing space utilization and operational flexibility. Paramount has also obtained LEED v4 certification and incorporates green building specifications intended to support more sustainable development practices.

Construction of Paramount Business Complex has reached 100% completion, marking a significant milestone in the project’s development.

The project’s network of business partners includes several established entities with expertise across different sectors, including IWG, Regus, Humanly, HQ, YBA and Bocentic. Their involvement reflects the range of specialized capabilities supporting the project’s development and operations.

AGEC Announces New Expansion Steps in East Cairo

El-Ashry also announced several initiatives designed to support AGEC Developments’ expansion during the coming period. These include opening a new Ivy Residence showroom in Shorouk City, establishing a new HQ branch in Heliopolis and launching a new AGEC Developments sales office at Next Plus Mall in the Fifth Settlement.

Eng. Hisham El-Masry, Commercial Consultant at AGEC, said the initiatives form part of the company’s broader strategy to expand its presence in East Cairo and increase its land portfolio through residential and commercial projects currently under consideration.

He also highlighted plans for a commercial and administrative project in the Fifth Settlement, scheduled for launch in the fourth quarter of 2026, as part of the company’s ongoing efforts to diversify its portfolio and strengthen its presence in promising real estate locations.

The ceremony concluded with the recognition of AGEC’s commercial and administrative teams in appreciation of their contributions to the company’s performance and achievement of its targets over the previous period. The company continues to pursue new development opportunities and expand its activities across the Egyptian market.
