The U.S. Embassy in Cairo officially opened the U.S. Pavilion at the El Alamein International Air Show 2026, showcasing American technology, innovation, and expertise across aviation, aerospace, defense, cybersecurity, satellite technology, and other advanced technology sectors.
The pavilion was officially inaugurated by Eric Gaudiosi, U.S. Embassy Cairo Chargé d’Affaires, ad interim, in the presence of Egyptian Minister of Civil Aviation Sameh Hefny, along with U.S. and Egyptian partners and representatives of participating companies.
Following the ribbon-cutting ceremony, Gaudiosi toured the pavilion’s exhibits, which showcase a wide range of American technologies, capabilities, and solutions.
Eric Gaudiosi: U.S. Participation Reflects the Strength of the U.S.-Egypt Partnership
Commenting on the U.S. participation, Chargé d’Affaires Eric Gaudiosi said the United States is proud to participate in the El Alamein International Air Show 2026, featuring both the U.S. Pavilion and the American Innovation Hub.
He noted that the strong U.S. presence reflects the depth of the U.S.-Egypt partnership and the longstanding cooperation between the two countries across the aviation, aerospace, defense, space, and commercial sectors.
Gaudiosi emphasized that the participating American companies represent the innovation, technology, and expertise for which the United States is known, adding that Washington looks forward to building new partnerships and expanding commercial and technological opportunities that benefit both countries.
More Than 25 U.S. Companies Participate in El Alamein Air Show
The 2026 edition of the El Alamein International Air Show features a strong U.S. presence, bringing together more than 25 American companies representing a broad spectrum of technological and commercial capabilities.
The U.S. Pavilion features companies including Raytheon, Lyntris, BAE Systems, Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, Boeing, Top Aces, RDO Aeroprocurement, ATC Aviation Services North America, and L3Harris.
Meanwhile, the U.S. Department of Commerce’s American Innovation Hub brings together Cisco Systems, RTX Collins, GE Aerospace, Horizon Global Partners, Hill International, Honeywell, Neros Technologies, Palo Alto Networks, Planet Labs, Princeton Satellite Systems, and Rapiscan Systems.
Starlink and SpaceX, which specializes in space services, are also attending the show, alongside MITRE, a company specializing in airspace safety.
