People & Places has signed a construction contract worth EGP 1.4 billion with Redcon Construction, one of Egypt’s leading contractors, marking another key milestone in the development of The Med Ras El Hekma, one of the country’s premier coastal destinations.
Under the agreement, Redcon Construction will execute the structural concrete works and external finishing for three phases of the project: The Mediterranean Village, The Waterfall Village, and The Gray Laguna.
Construction is scheduled to begin in June 2026, with completion targeted within 18 months. The scope includes the development of 321 residential units with a total built-up area exceeding 54,000 square meters, comprising 127 villas and 194 chalets across the three phases.

Since its launch in 2022, The Med Ras El Hekma has established itself as one of Egypt’s leading coastal destinations.
Spanning 307 acres, the development features an 800-meter beachfront, more than 110,000 square meters of swimmable lagoons, and a fully integrated master plan combining residential communities, hospitality offerings, leisure experiences, and lifestyle amenities.
The destination has welcomed visitors to its beach for three consecutive summer seasons, reflecting the project’s steady construction progress and growing appeal.
