The session featured Ahmed Abdel Latif, Digital Infrastructure and Digital Transformation Expert and Consultant; Mohamed Sameh, Managing Director of Raya Data Center and Cloud; Mostafa Abou Gamrah, Chief Executive Officer at Media-Sci; and Mohamed ElRewainy, Enterprise Solutions Manager at e& Egypt.
Panelists discussed the role of digital infrastructure, cloud computing, and data centers in supporting the growth of artificial intelligence applications and enabling sustainable economic opportunities.
Building an Integrated AI Ecosystem Through Investment and Innovation
The second panel discussion addressed Egypt’s potential to build an integrated artificial intelligence ecosystem through strategic policies, investment, and financing mechanisms.
The session included Mohamed Okasha, Founder and Managing Partner of Disruptech Ventures; Dr. Maged Ghoneima, Co-Founder and Managing Partner of M Empire Angels; Yoeil Ashraf, Founder and CEO of Progressio Solutions and the “One Million Minds” Movement; and Dr. Haitham Hamza, Dean of the Faculty of Computing and Artificial Intelligence at Cairo University and Chairman of SECC-ITIDA.
The discussion highlighted the importance of fostering public-private partnerships, supporting technology startups, and creating investment opportunities that accelerate the growth of Egypt’s artificial intelligence sector.
