La Roche-Posay Expands “Fight with Care” Initiative for Women Battling Cancer in Egypt
L’Oréal Egypt, through its dermatological skincare brand La Roche-Posay, hosted the charity concert “Melodies of Hope,” featuring renowned Egyptian composer Omar Khairat, with all ticket-sale proceeds dedicated to supporting Baheya Foundation for Women’s Cancer Hospital.
The event comes as part of the ongoing “Fight with Care” partnership launched in 2024 between La Roche-Posay and Baheya Foundation to provide integrated physical and psychological support for women fighting cancer in Egypt.
Charity Concert Raises Awareness and Funding for Cancer Patients
The “Melodies of Hope” concert aimed to raise awareness and mobilize support for women undergoing cancer treatment, while highlighting the role of music in providing emotional encouragement and hope.
Through this initiative, La Roche-Posay reaffirmed its commitment to empowering Egyptian women by helping them regain confidence, dignity, and emotional well-being throughout their treatment journey.
“Fight with Care” Supports Cancer Patients Through Skincare and Psychological Care
Launched in 2024, the “Fight with Care” program was designed to address treatment-related skin side effects commonly experienced by cancer patients during and after therapy.
As part of the partnership, La Roche-Posay contributed to establishing a dedicated training room inside Baheya Foundation, funded staff recruitment and medical training, and provided essential skincare products for patients.
The initiative also includes skincare and makeup workshops for fighters, awareness sessions for patients and families, and educational programs for healthcare professionals, all aimed at improving patients’ quality of life and offering psychological support during treatment.
Initiative Reached Over 40,000 People in 2025
According to the company, the initiative successfully reached more than 40,000 individuals in 2025, reflecting the growing impact of the program across Egypt.
Most recently, La Roche-Posay launched a specialized Dermo-Oncology Department led by Professor Rehab Hegazy as part of a volunteer movement among Egyptian dermatologists, marking a significant step toward integrated cancer care and quality-of-life support for oncology patients.

The “Melodies of Hope” concert represented more than a musical evening; it stood as a symbol of solidarity, compassion, and community support.
Through its partnership with Baheya Foundation, L’Oréal Egypt aims to transform every musical note into meaningful support for women battling cancer, celebrating their courage while reminding them they are surrounded by care, hope, and unity.
