Changelabs has officially launched the SME Insurance Accelerator Program in Egypt, partnering with five
of the country’s leading insurance companies: Misr Insurance, Orient Insurance, Sarwa Insurance,
Amanleek, and Kaf Insurance.
The initiative aims to develop new insurance products tailored for small and medium enterprises
(SMEs), improve distribution channels, and strengthen risk management practices.
This partnership comes at a critical moment for Egypt’s insurance sector, which is experiencing rapid
transformations in customer needs and an increasing demand for flexible, SME-focused solutions.
Small and medium enterprises are widely recognized as a key driver of Egypt’s economic growth, making
this initiative especially impactful.
Changelabs Redefines Innovation in the Insurance Sector
The SME Insurance Accelerator Program in Egypt represents Changelabs’ commitment to helping established
companies access innovation.
Changelabs has collaborated with global insurance experts RMC and Finprobity to design and
deliver training content, coach insurance management teams, support product development, and assist
with regulatory approvals.
The program has also significantly enhanced technical and operational capabilities across participating
insurers, providing training to 435 staff members, including 75 property risk engineers, 60
underwriters, and 300 additional employees and management personnel.
New Insurance Products Targeting SMEs
Through the SME Insurance Accelerator Program in Egypt, participating companies have launched four new and improved insurance products tailored to the needs of SMEs, including:
Affordable insurance solutions
Flexible and customizable products
Coverage programs linked to risk management strategies
Digitally-enabled distribution models
These products have contributed to increased revenue, enhanced profitability, and improved workplace
safety for over 3,000 SME employees.
