Safwa Urban Development (SUD) has signed a strategic agreement with AFM, a subsidiary of DORRA Group, to manage and operate the administrative and commercial Financial HUB project in the New Capital, strengthening efforts to establish a professional operational framework that supports efficiency, sustainability, and long-term investment value.
The agreement comes as part of SUD’s strategy to select specialized partners with proven expertise in facilities management and operations, contributing to enhanced service standards, improved operational efficiency, and the preservation of the project’s value over the long term.
Financial HUB Receives International LEED Certification
The Financial HUB project has received LEED certification, reflecting its compliance with international environmental and sustainability standards. According to SUD Chairman Ali Shalaby, the project is the first integrated building in the New Capital to receive international LEED certification.
Shalaby explained that the project reflects SUD’s approach to developing real estate projects that combine strategic locations with international environmental standards, emphasizing that next-generation developments are no longer focused solely on construction, but increasingly on value creation, sustainability, operational efficiency, and global competitiveness.
SUD and AFM Strengthen Cooperation in Project Operations
The agreement was signed by Ali Shalaby, Chairman of SUD, and Amr Salah, General Manager of AFM, a subsidiary of DORRA Group, as part of the cooperation between the two companies to manage and operate the administrative and commercial building while leveraging AFM’s specialized expertise in facilities management and operations.
The agreement aims to establish a professional management and operations system tailored to the nature of the LEED-certified Financial HUB, while enhancing the efficiency of maintenance services, facilities management, and day-to-day operations.
The new operational framework is expected to improve the user experience and provide a stable, efficient, and attractive environment for companies and commercial activities operating within the project.
Professional Management Supports Real Estate Sustainability
Ali Shalaby emphasized that high-quality operation represents a key factor in maintaining the sustainability and value of real estate projects.
He noted that a project’s value is determined not only by its location, design, and construction quality, but also by its ability to maintain asset efficiency, service standards, and the quality of the working environment after operations begin.
Shalaby pointed out that professional management contributes to protecting the value created throughout the various stages of development. He added that adopting smarter and more structured operational systems enables faster responses to users’ needs, more effective monitoring of maintenance and services, and better management of resources and facilities.
These measures support consistent operational performance, enhance the overall experience within the project, and contribute to strengthening the competitiveness of administrative and commercial developments.
Strategic Location Enhances Financial HUB’s Appeal
Shalaby further stated that Financial HUB is located in the heart of the Financial District in the New Capital, specifically at Ministries Square.
The project is located directly opposite the monorail station and adjacent to the Downtown area, providing convenient access and strengthening its attractiveness as a destination for administrative and commercial activities.
The strategic location is expected to support the project’s operational appeal and enhance its position within one of the New Capital’s most important business and financial districts.
AFM Highlights the Importance of Financial HUB
Amr Salah, General Manager of AFM, a subsidiary of DORRA Group, said that the LEED-certified Financial HUB represents a significant addition to the portfolio of projects managed and operated by AFM.
Salah highlighted the project’s strategic location and described it as one of the largest buildings in the New Capital, noting that AFM is proud to participate in its operation and management.
He emphasized the importance of applying AFM’s specialized expertise to support the project’s operational efficiency and maintain high standards of facilities management and services.
The agreement between SUD and AFM represents an important step toward establishing an integrated operational model for Financial HUB, combining professional facilities management with sustainability standards and a strategic location to support the project’s long-term value and competitiveness.
