Madinet Masr announced the award of new construction works for the Origami project in Taj City to a number of specialized contractors, with a total value of approximately EGP 1.38 billion.
The newly awarded contracts form part of Madinet Masr’s ongoing construction program and reflect the company’s continued progress in implementing its development plans across its project portfolio, in line with targeted project timelines.
The company aims to award construction contracts worth approximately EGP 18 billion during 2026, of which approximately EGP 9.8 billion has been awarded to date. The latest contracts reinforce the company’s continued focus on executing its development plans and advancing construction activities across its projects.
Madinet Masr Advances Construction Works at Origami
The Origami project represents one of the key residential developments within Taj City, offering a diverse range of villas, twin houses and townhouses designed to accommodate different customer needs.
Unit areas at Origami range from 152 to 606 square meters, providing a variety of residential options with different sizes and designs.
The total built-up area of the buildings covered by the newly awarded construction works reaches approximately 78,760 square meters, distributed across 271 buildings within the project.
