كتب: Ahmed Saad

In a continued effort to strengthen its corporate social responsibility initiatives and support community health, Fawry, Egypt’s leading fintech company, has partnered with the Baheya Foundation for Early Detection and Treatment of Breast Cancer as part of its Pink October campaign. The collaboration aims to raise awareness about breast cancer, highlight the importance of early detection and regular medical screenings, and support Baheya’s Warriors by showcasing their talents and creative abilities.

As part of the collaboration, Fawry illuminated its buildings in pink, symbolizing solidarity with women battling breast cancer and expressing support for Baheya’s Warriors. The initiative also aimed to draw attention to the importance of sustained community engagement in promoting breast cancer awareness and encouraging women to prioritize early detection.

Fawry Organizes Bazaar to Showcase Baheya Warriors’ Creative Talents

In a further step to support the women of Baheya, Fawry organized a special bazaar featuring a collection of handmade products created by Baheya’s Warriors.

The bazaar provided an opportunity to showcase their artistic skills, highlight their entrepreneurial capabilities, and support their small businesses by offering a platform through which they could display and promote their products. The initiative reflects the importance of economic and social empowerment alongside healthcare support, while celebrating the determination and creativity of women facing breast cancer.

Breast Cancer Awareness Sessions for Fawry’s Female Employees

The collaboration also extended to Fawry’s internal workplace community through the organization of specialized breast cancer awareness sessions for female employees.

The sessions focused on explaining the importance of early detection and regular medical screenings, while highlighting the role of health awareness in encouraging preventive practices and identifying potential signs of the disease at an early stage.

Through these educational activities, Fawry sought to promote a culture of health awareness among its female workforce and emphasize the importance of taking proactive steps toward maintaining personal health.

These initiatives reaffirm Fawry’s continued commitment to its corporate social responsibility strategy, particularly in supporting health-related causes and contributing to initiatives that generate a positive and sustainable impact on society.

Through its collaboration with the Baheya Foundation, Fawry seeks not only to contribute to raising awareness of breast cancer and the importance of early detection, but also to recognize the experiences of Baheya’s Warriors, support their creative potential, and highlight their inspiring stories.

The partnership reflects the importance of cooperation between the private sector and specialized healthcare organizations in addressing community health challenges, promoting social solidarity, and supporting women throughout their journeys toward recovery and empowerment.
